Unique Coupons for Customers
Would like to create unique Coupons for each customer, like B&N does. CP would have to be modified to track and redeem these unique, customer-specific coupons. This would prevents coupon forwarding via email.

CustomerConnect plans to implement this feature, but we need CounterPoint to add this functionality first. When CounterPoint can generate unique coupon codes per customer, CustomerConnect will likely add this feature in their next release. As of today, this capability is on the CounterPoint team’s radar but is not on a release schedule.

We really want the email to come from our domain. We build the trust with our customers in our stores with our brand, and we strongly feel our customers expect to see an email from us, not our POS solution.
We are afraid we are losing contacts because of this.

Restrict purchases to recipients who opened mail or clicked
The system currently counts all purchases for all email recipients. That overstates the effectiveness of the campaign. It should only count purchases for customers who actually opened their email - or you should at least provide an option to restrict it accordingly.

Send a "Thank You" email as soon as a customer signs up
I'd like to be able to send a coupon to customers that sign up/opt in to email marketing as soon as they do so, without setting up a confusing reoccurring email that checks for new addresses only once per day.

two email addresses
I have households who would like to receive our emails at two different email addresses. Counterpoint allows for two would it be possible to allow us to send to both?

Folders to Organize Image Library
Right now Customer Connect Allows you to upload as many images as you want into the Image Library. However there is no way to organize these images. Having an option to create folders would benefit anyone using the program and would keep everything organized. Otherwise you might be searching 5-10 minutes trying to locate one specific image.

Stronger Boolean Segments
The "AND" and "OR" are great for combining segment criteria, but we also need "NOT" so that we can take customers out of a segment. We might want to advertise an item to customers who bought something from the same category, but not if they've already bought that item. Right now, there's a couple of long workarounds that could easily be dealt with by allowing "NOT" and "XOR" (exclusive OR) operators.

We need to be able to create a segment on Step 4 using a range of Zip/Postal Codes - in addition to being able to select individual codes

Need the ability to see who has NOT opened emails
I would find it beneficial if we could receive analysis on those that have NOT opened the email (this would allow me to try again with another email/subject line to entice them again, without bothering those that opened the email ... and even give us the ability to resend the same campaign, or a slightly modified one to those individuals who have not opened the email)

Create and save test segments
A user should be able to create and save test segments under the Manage tab. This would let the user test how many subscribers are in a segment before creating a campaign. If they find out that that segment is too small or too large for their needs, then they could abandon it before creating a campaign, saving time. Also, if the user decides to save a test segment, the segment should be available for use when creating a campaign email.

Allow for A/B Testing of emails.
In the program Mail Chimp you can create two versions of an email and it will divide your segment and do an A/B test for you so you can see which email is more effective.

Segment by Store Purchased From
We need to be able to create a segment based on the Store a customer has purchased from - not just the store they were assigned to when the customer record was created. We should also be able to combine Store Purchased From with Purchased from Item Category and Ticket Item Number.

Print Only the Coupon in the Email
When you use the template editor, there should be a feature in the email sent to bring up a separate tab or window for only the coupon. This way the customer can print just the coupon, instead of the whole email.

Email sent confirmation
I am never 100% sure if an email is sent or scheduled. It would be nice to be able to check a box to say I want to be included on the email distribution list or just to receive some sort of pop up confirmation.

Send email by amount of money spent in x number of days.
I want to send am email to a customer who has spent a certain amount of money over the past year (365 days). Option should be customizable to change that number of days.

Allow "Segments" to query entire customer database, even those without emails
I'd like to be able to use the "Segments" function for targeted direct-mail (snail mail) campaigns. However, CustomerConnect can't use customers who don't have email addresses, which most of my database customers haven't provided which eliminates it's functionality.

Enable responsively designed emails.
Emails are being opened to a large extent on mobile phones with screens as small as 2.25" across and need to be readable at this scale. The top ESPs allow for responsive design.
