How can we improve NCR Customer Connect?

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

  1. Put the numbers back directly over each bar graph

    On the Dash Board it use to have the number of opens, clicks, purchases etc. over each bar graph. I would like to have them back because I take a screen shot of this and email to the employees to show them how successfull each email is. Better yet would be some reports I could export.

  2. Interface Customer Connect and CPOnline

    CPOnline should share customer account information with Customer Connect.

    Customer Connect should have templates to promote specific items from CPOnline. The interface would allow you to select an item from CPOnline, the thumbnail and link would automatically be generated.

    You would also need to track how many of those customers that 1) opened the e-mail then 2) purchased the featured items through CPOnline.

  3. HTML Editor

    There should be a WYSIWYG editor for user-generated templates. "Paste HTML" is a good option, but under "Edit Content" there should be formatting options, the ability to select (and upload) images, etc.

  4. Uploaded List Notification

    We need to know when our uploaded lists have failed for some reason, so we need to receive a notification or status email for upload failures as well as successful uploads.

  5. Ability to delete stock templates

    This would be great. Some organizations have no need for custom templates. They have website/graphics people in-house. So why no be able to delete something you are never going to use?

  7. NCR Customer Connect suddenly doesn't have authority to manage company pages? did something change? can't reconnect

    Auto post to FB has been working perfectly for months until the end of July when suddenly it failed. Read online instructions stating that disconnecting and reconnecting usually reset. Disconnected and Reconnected fine but now get this msg "NCR Customer Connect does not have access to manage your pages and post to your account. Click 'Continue' to launch Facebook and authorize the application." even though full managerial permissions were given when reconnecting

  8. Creating segments by Sales Reps

    I am trying to create a list segment for a particular SALES REP (sls_rep), but I couldn't find any way to do that. I want my sales reps to create their own segments and email their own clients. I believe it wouldn't be too difficult to add that, perhaps in the Profile Code.

    If you have additional profile codes available, you can definitely create a profile code for Sales Rep. Though to start using this segment in Customer Connect you will need to populate all customer records with the proper Sales Rep.

    I have opened an enhancement to pull Sales Rep data in the ticket so segments can be created off this data as well (this will be good for those who do not have additional profile codes available). Thank you for your suggestion.

  9. Smartphones are not properly supported.

    It does not appear that CustomerConnect includes headers for smartphones to display the HTML email correctly. This would seem like a critical issue to me.

    We like to send out coupons based on our customers year-to-date spending. There is no segment for this, only ytd percentile.

    The ability to upload any size graphic into CC and get the choice of 3 different automatic graphic sizes (as our prior email marketing system could do).

  12. Be able to create a recipient segment based on email address.

    We want to be able to email particular groups of email addresses. High schools and colleges (containing .edu for example) or even particular colleges (containing harvard.edu, for example).

  13. Message Composer Using Body Segments

    Sections of a message body should be targetable to specific segments. When the user sets up a message, he or she could target everybody with a basic theme that everybody receives, and then add a section that only customers in a specific region see. This would allow something like this:

    1.) Message Header/Logo (everybody sees this)
    2.) Subject Line (everybody sees this)
    3.) Hello Customer Name (everybody sees this)
    4.) Basic Message (everybody sees this)
    5.) Coupon for Customers from Georgia (targeted to one segment)
    6.) Coupon for Customers from Nevada (targeted to a different segment)

  14. Customer Feedback Upon Unsubscribe

    Would like to have a way to survey or get some type of feedback from customers who unsubscribe. This would help us to know if we are sending too much or mis-targeted email to our customers.

  16. Organizing CDN Images

    Images should be sorted by default in descending order by date, keeping the newest images on the first page of every folder, and keeping the older images on subsequent pages.

  17. Add Instagram & Blog icon/address choices in template.

    It's great that there are Facebook & Twitter icons to list our addresses, but I'd also like the same for Instagram & our website blog.

  18. Multiple Discount Codes per Email

    We very often include more than one special offer in a single email but Customer Connect only allows us to track redemptions for a single discount code for each email. We would like the ability to enter more than one discount code for each email.

  19. unsubscribe

    We handle our unsubscribes on our website and the data gets pushed back into counterpoint. I would like to be able to modify the unsubscribe link to direct people to our unsubscribe.

  20. Segment: 1 purchase in last 6 months

    I want to be able to reach out to customers who have only made a certain number of purchases over a certain period of time. For example, customers who hvae only shopped 1 time in the last 6 months.
