  1. Currently, I've found no way to add a background image in my custom HTML email that works in MS Outlook 2007. There is a way, but it requires a css style included in the BODY tag, which we don't have access to. When we upload custom HTML, you guys wrap it with the 'view on website' link at the top, and the unsubscribe/address info at the bottom. Is there a way to allow us to upload an entire HTML document, including HEAD and BODY, and you put your includes within the BODY we create? We could include some comments or…

    The Manage/Images tab in Customer Connect provides the ability to manage images (copy, delete, resize, etc). Please provide more information about what you’re looking for so we may review it further. Thanks in advance.

    Thank you for your suggestion. I have reviewed the Results tab and do see dates along the horizontal axis of the KBI report. Please provide more information so that we can research your request further.

  6. There should be an option to feature products within an email blast. The options should allow for the user to pick one or all of the following to insert: image, item name, brand, price, special price via email promotion. The design layout must look sophisticated. Perhaps a side column option, however as a clothing retailer, we'd like something aesthetically pleasing to feature products in a gift guide or new arrivals within the body of the email.

  8. The template screen show very small templates. Also, many templates repeat themselves. A banner selection would be more appropriate. When I am selecting templates the website freezes then gives and error and templates I have chosen are not in My Templates page. Very fustrating.

  9. I have a clothing retail outlet, it would be a unique feature if there was an option to sort customers automatically into the size categories so we can target our customer according to the existing inventory levels.

  10. Would it be possible to have the plain text appear without the spaces at the start to each paragraph? Also, to make sure there are spaces after sentences to cut down on our work here?

  11. We need to be able to set top, bottom, and side margins in each section/block in an email. The text now runs up against the sides by default. I've found no way to set margins in the new editor, but can do it by adding the appropriate Style in the appropriate Tag in HTML.

  12. Browsing the uploaded images in your CC account seems a natural to me.

    The existing image box for columns does not alow URL and description tags. This makes them much less useful.

  13. Add link to content editor (step 6.) to do a heuristic scan based on a selection of target email clients or client types. Produce a report of issues and suggestions and/or links issues to suggestions. For example, Outlook formatiing, Smartphone headers, etc. Maybe even a fix-it option. Fixing the generated code by hand is very tedious with publish deadlines. There are some engines out there to cobble in now.

  14. Remove or make optional the mandatory "Subscribe" button at the bottom of every email.

    This mandatory feature is causing issues with our Customer Rewards Club Communications. We see people signing up for Rewards Club specific emails when they are not members. This is an issue on a couple of different levels:

    1) These people may think they have now signed up for a Club membership. They have not because they have not been assigned a Customer Number and do not have a CounterPoint profile.

    2) The "Subscribe" form does not allow us to choose what is required information. As of…

  16. Add a display of the number of recipients who will receive the mailing above the SEND button in step 8 to confirm before sending. This avoids missing step 4 (selecting recipients) errors and wasted or incomplete mailings. It is not always obvious if step 4 is a bit more complex.

  17. We need the ability to manually set the time that the Integration Agent uploads data from CounterPoint to Customer Connect. We have custom profile codes that get updated every day with time specific information that is used to trigger daily appointment confirmation and email reminders.

  18. In the campaign graph show both the campaign and the email name. If you put multiple emails withing a campaign to help organize them you can't tell with email you are view the results for.
