We agree that email should not go to spam, but this suggestion isn’t actionable. If you have a specific problem you need assistance with please contact support at CustomerConnectSupport@radiantsystems.com or enter another suggestion with more details. Asking your recipients to whitelist your from address (adding your from address to their safe senders list) will also assist with email delivery to the recipient’s inbox. Thank you.

  2. We should be able to see when emails are opened, how long they're opened for & if emails were deleted.

Thank you for your suggestion, unfortunately the current architecture of email does not give us the ability to provide how long an email was opened or if it was deleted.
Though, there are 2 suggestions you may want to add your vote to. The title of those suggestions are:
    (1) Need the ability to see who has NOT opened emails – it doesn’t show you who deleted your email, but this may be just as good.
    (2) timestamp – this one will provide you when an email was opened, but not how long it was opened.
You can easily look for these suggestions, using the search option. This will help increase the current vote for these items.
User Voice helps guide the team in deciding which features to implement in future releases, so your vote is important. Please add other suggestions, if you don’t see them listed already. Thank you.

  4. I see that CC uses standard open-source editors like Tiny MCS. These editors come with a configuration tool that allows customization of the tool panels for different types of users. Consider turning this feature back on to allow more complete editing. Many helpful features are disabled now.

  5. Changed (or corrected) email addresses in the Counterpoint customer record are not being sent to Customer Connect, so even though the cashier receives an alert (cool feature!), and corrects the email at the POS, Customer Connect doesn't recognize the change has been made. So the alerts of "invalid email" keep appearing, and the customer still does not receive the correct email campaigns.

Martin, The customer note in Counterpoint must be deleted manually, Even though corrected email addresses are communicated to Customer Connect you will continue to see the invalid message in Counterpoint until the customer note is deleted manually. You can delete it by following these steps: In Counterpoint, navigate to Main Menu/Customers/Customers, find the customer record you’d like to modify, Click on the Note icon, enter Note ID = AUTO and press enter. Delete the ‘invalid email…’ customer note. If you have any other questions, please contact support at RetailApps.Support@ncr.com. Thank you.

Hi Amos – the information in these help articles may help you with your request. If not, please let us know some more detail on your request and we can see what is possible.:

  7. Great that Counterpoint can now be notified of an invalid email address, but without the POPUP note dismissing at POS it is quite cumbersome. There must be a script that can be written so that when the address is updated by the POS operator the note is automatically deleted.

  8. You should be able to keep people grandfathered into a campaign.

Additional data is needed to research the suggestion further. In 2011, additional info was requested but no response was provided so we’re closing the suggestion.
