It takes too long to create a new template relative to other products on the market.
This has been added in the January release (1/21/12). Please click on the “What’s New” link, found on the Dashboard for additional information (found under New Text Editor).

Agree! Also, the editing sometimes seems weird, like when I go to add bullets it sometimes automatically adds funky spacing and bullets in random places all over the template.
When you make a mistake on the template, there is not an "undo" button to go back (like in word processing or constant contact). The editing on customer connect templates is not user friendly. It is difficult to move items around to where you want them to be and if you make a mistake, there is no "undo" button to go back a step. You pretty much have to start all over again.
